I am print averse. I don't know why, I love prints, just not on my body. I am getting better at wearing prints in my old age and have featured a few summer prints. When I bought this blouse I was so proud of myself - a PRINT for fall! Now it may not seem revolutionary to most but for me I am venturing out of my comfort zone of warm solid fall colours and it looks gone on me...seriously it really does look good on me. This outfit is so basic I had to feature it on Mundane Monday's. It's back!
I guess I am cheating a bit regarding prints - this is an animal print (cheetah or leopard) and those are neutrals for me...except this one is purple so I do get two points for effort. I just love leopard prints. Some are saying cougar under their breathe!! Haha!

simple but I love this look. You look great in blue :)
ReplyDeleteI like it. But next time go more daring...as in full blown leopard print. Or cougar...whichever you prefer. ;)
ReplyDeleteA cougar print would get a lot of laughs in North America! OMG...

Hey there! Thanks for the comment on my Adult Grilled Cheese blog post! It is a yummy treat to have! And you can have it all to yourself if you don't want to share with the kids!
ReplyDeleteBut anyway! I love the top! I'm so lame with my clothing choices...I wear jeans or jean capris most of the time with a solid colored shirt. I don't veer from that too often but I try and am getting better at it! It's odd how afraid I am of it!
I look forward to reading more of you!

It's lovely on you! You should totally wear more prints...just takes getting used to I think. Looking forward to tomorrow's blog...all sorted this end! Avril x
