Guest Post - Pretty and Delectable

Today is Canadian Thanksgiving so I have the day off, enjoying it with friends and family. Since swapping with Avril at School Gate Style was such a success  I thought I would introduce you to another blogger Stephanie, who blogs at Pretty and Delectable. I visit Stephanie's blog for food inspiration and a splash of style. To all my Canadian readers Happy Thanksgiving! To everyone else I hope you have a great start to the week.

Greetings! My name is Stephanie... I'm a working mom of four-year-old twin girls and I write a blog called Pretty and Delectable which features my food, fashion, and life adventures. I am so excited to be guest posting for Iva here at One Chic Mom! Iva pointed out that busy moms are always looking for new cooking/baking ideas, so I thought I would share with you a delectable dinner recipe I recently made...

Chicken paprikash is a classic Hungarian dish, and this particular recipe is one of the easiest versions I've seen. The recipe calls for boneless skinless chicken breast, but you could easily substitute bone-in skin-on chicken if you prefer. The sauce is incredibly tasty... perfect for mopping up with the egg noodles!

I used red bell peppers instead of green... my daughters LOVE red bell peppers and have been known to eat an entire one apiece in a single sitting.

The recipe calls for six ounces of egg noodles... I used the entire twelve ounce bag and it seemed just right for us.

Thanks for reading! Hope to see you soon at Pretty and Delectable... here are links to a few of my most popular posts for you to enjoy:

Thanks for preparing this post Stephanie! Go and visit Stephanie's blog and I hope you'll be inspired by her recipes, craftiness and style.

One more piece of business...I still need your votes. I made it through to the top 15 and I'd like to stay there and maybe reach the top 10. If you can please vote by clicking here or on the badge that says Circle of Moms. Last time I checked I was #11, you can vote once every 24 hrs. Once the voting is done I will stop posting this annoying message. Thanks!

    1. We are really lucky... our girls eat just about everything, including chicken and tofu dipped in spicy sriracha sauce! They definitely inherited my husband's love of spicy foods.

  6. I'm a huge fan of Stephanie's so I thought I'd pop in! It's adorable that Steph's daughters eat red pepper, haha, I don't think I developed a taste for veggies until I was much older.

    Nice recipe. :)
