EDIT by Jeanne Beker - Preview Spring 2013

Jeanne Beker is a Canadian Fashion Icon and one of the most important Fashion Reporters of our time. Her signature fringe and distinctive voice have endured her to fashion lovers for over four decades. She introduced me to fashion with her ground breaking show "Fashion Television". Each week Jeanne would bring viewers the latest couture or ready-to-wear collections and introduced my generation to the '90s Super Models. Linda, Cindy, Kate, Claudia, Christy and Naomi are as relevant and popular today as they were back on FT showing us all how to strut.

When Jeanne launched "Edit by Jeanne Beker" in 2010 at The Bay, Canadians knew what they were getting - style, class and lots of fun. Here's a snapshot of things to come from January to March for Spring 2013. Jeanne also offers clothing in Petite and Plus sizes...still waiting for Tall. Please?

The Following Pieces are available in stores in January - its all about brights

The Neutral Collection will be available in February - I want the sequin button down

It's all about pretty pastels in March

This is the Plus Size collection - Nautical, neutral and pretty.

What's your favourite?

  1. The collection look so nice, I love pastel colors but they are not the most appropriate for my skin tone , so I would go for the blues from the first picture . Have a lovely day Iva !

  2. OMG!!! Jeanne Beker! Now that is a blast from the past. Her Fashion TV programme used to be shown in Ireland on Sunday afternoons when I was in my teens... so many a weekend was spent fighting with my father over which was more important viewing, fashion or GAA hurling matches. Good to see she's still going strong :)

  3. I've never heard of her I confess but I'm liking that pink tie dye jumper - I would happily wear that come the summer months. Have you chosen anything?

    1. Everyone who attended received a lovely knit sweater. I want the lace skirt (like that it's tiered) and the sequin blouse. Those are my two favourite pieces. Jeanne Beker is Canadian Fashion royalty. In international fashion circles she is also very well known.
